Association season, he converted from Catholicism to Islam
and took the name Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. He played 20 seasons
in the NBA with the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers.

refused to participate in the Vietnam War. He was arrested
and his boxing license was revoked, leading to a three-year
absence from the sport. Ali was diagnosed, in 1981, with Parkinson's
disorder and now raises money for the Muhammad Ali Foundation.
